Invisible (Lingual) Braces
Lingual Braces are stainless steel brackets that attach on the tongue or “lingual” side of the teeth. They are fixed to the teeth in a similar fashion as conventional metal braces and share many of the same mechanical advantages.
Custom archwires are fabricated in increasing sizes to enable controlled manipulation of the teeth. They provide an esthetic treatment option, as they are not seen when speaking or eating. Lingual braces utilize the mechanical principles of traditional braces while concealing the appliances on the backside of the teeth.
