| Orthodontics for
Children The American Association of
Orthodontics recommends that every child first visit an orthodontist by the age of seven
or even earlier if a problem is detected by a parent, family dentist or physician.
An early examination allows the orthodontic specialist to
determine how and when a child's particular problem should be treated. Early
treatment can achieve results which may be unattainable once the face and jaws are
completely developed.
Orthodontists can improve smiles at any age, but early
attention can often prevent future obstacles. Our office will glady help any patient
make an informed decision concerning the optimal time that his or her treatment should
begin. |
