There are several types of braces, some less obvious than others.  Mini braces (stainless steel or gold), which are far smaller than conventional braces used in the past, are among the variety of options available to our patients.  Tooth-colored ceramic braces, which blend in with the smile, are another possibility.  Invisible lingual braces are small metal brackets which are attached to the back sides of the teeth.   Functional and removable appliances may also be used where indicated to influence jaw growth.
